UMF stands for Unique Manuka Factor and is a quality trademark and grading system managed by the UMF Association of New Zealand. The purpose is to give assurance to customers by identifying natural unadulterated manuka honey that has a special unique natural property found only in some strains of manuka honey. The UMF grading system appraises natural markers found in Manuka Honey, and assures purity and quality.

The UMF grading system can only be used by licensed members of the UMF Association.

Risk Management Programme (RMP)

Our RMP sets out how we¬†(‘the operator’) will identify and control, manage, eliminate or minimise food safety hazards and other risk factors in relation to your processing. All animal products traded and used must be ‘fit for intended purpose’ and meet the appropriate New Zealand animal product legislation.

We are audited annually for compliance of our RMP.

Additionally all product labels are checked by the Ministry of Primary Industries for compliance with New Zealand Government legislation.
